Tuesday Trio of Signings

Dario Viviani, Max Guthrie and Carter Jenkins

Ayr United are delighted to announce the signing of 3 Academy players on their first professional contracts.  Winger Dario Viviani, central midfielder Carter Jenkins and forward Max Guthrie have all agreed contracts with the club as they progress from the under-18s.  Dario and Carter join on 2 year contracts having completed their U18 season, and Max joins on a 3 year contract having progressed from the U16s.

Head of Academy Davie White “We are delighted to have Dario, Carter and Max joining the club on a full-time basis. They have all developed very well within the academy and all have been with us from a young age - it’s great for the Academy to have 10 young players in the first team squad. I’m looking forward to working with Lee to help them continue their development and am excited to see where their careers go in the future.”

Managing Director Graeme Mathie “It’s always a pleasure to meet young players and their families as they embark on their journeys into the full-time environment.  This is undoubtedly the hardest transition for any young player, and it’s a credit to the staff within the Academy for their input into Dario’s, Carter’s and Max’s progression to this point.  We look forward to welcoming them into the first team squad for pre-season and have no doubt they will have every opportunity to progress their talent and potential.  Lee’s experience in working with young players is a key part of our vision as a club and they all have clear role models amongst their peers for others who have made the step into the first team squad on a regular basis.”
