Transfer Window Update

Ayr United is pleased to have been able to recruit 3 players in key positions having welcomed the new management team last week. Scott Brown had this to say about the club's transfer business,

"Obviously the last 10 days have been a bit of a whirlwind with getting to know the players and staff, the match against Queen's Park and preparing for Dundee United this Saturday but I'm pleased with the work we've been able to do on transfers in a short period of time.

I didn't have a chance to work with Jack Young, Jay or Finn but I know they were highly regarded at the club and we wish them all the best for the future.

Elicha has returned to Lincoln and I'm sure he will have benefitted from the game time he got at this level.

On the incomings, keeping Logan & Anton was key for us as both are in the starting team, and being able to add Jack, Harry and Kurt gives us options with physicality, energy and a work ethic which suits how we want to play. We have competition for places in every position now and we're looking forward to a successful second half of the season."
