SLO & DAO Vacancies

Ayr United - Supporters Liaison Officer (SLO)

The Board of the Club can confirm that it is seeking both a male and female SLO to take on a 2-year term from the start of the 2024/25 season.

Managing Director, Graeme Mathie said "We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge 'thank you' to Jamie Garrett who has held the SLO position for the last 5 years.

His commitment to engaging with fans, and also his support to the AU Player Fund must be applauded and his support has been hugely beneficial for the football club since I've arrived here.

As a Board, we continue to discuss ways we can move the Club forward, and felt it would be beneficial to ask supporters to commit to a 2-year term as SLO - in addition to offering the opportunity to both a male and a female supporter to ensure we can engage with as wide a demographic as possible amongst the supporter base.

We are looking forward to reviewing applications, and in the event there is more than one individual who wishes to take on either role, we will look to engage with supporters to ensure their views are heard before any final choices are made. The role of SLO is vitally important to us as we continue to grow, and to make sure the opinions of the fans are heard on decisions we make moving forward."

Applications should be sent to applications@ayrunitedfc.co.uk before 5pm on Monday 13th May 2024 with a cover letter highlighting any previous experience in a people-related field, and a note of why you should be considered for the position.
