Ayr United Football Club are pleased to announce our new GPS partner.

PlayerData system now live.

We are excited to bring you news of the club's new GPS partner, PlayerData.

Our players are now using state-of-the-art PlayerData Edge units at training and on matchday. The live data allows our coaches to view stats from each player and use information gathered to make data driven, real time decisions.

Ayr United will be the Edinburgh-based company's first senior team in their rapidly expanding portfolio.

Commercial Manager, Martin Tocker, said "I'd like to thank Fraser at PlayerData for helping to get the agreement over the line. I know the coaches were keen to start using the new system as soon as possible and all at the club are looking forward to sharing some key insights from matches on a weekly basis"

On the partnership, Managing Director Graeme Mathie said "Firstly, credit to our Sports Scientist Thomas Donovan for sourcing the company and thanks, also, to Martin for negotiating the deal. I think this represents a great opportunity to gain invaluable insights into various aspects of player performance. Not only will it greatly assist the coaching staff at the club, it also presents an opening to engage meaningfully with our supporters"
