Ayr United unveil stunning plans to redevelop Somerset Park

Following our vision meeting last night we would like to share with our wider support some images and a 3D fly through of our proposed new North Stand. The criteria for the development was:-

• Compliment Somerset Park without it losing its charm and atmosphere.
• Create an asset for the club.
• Enhance the fan experience.
• Re-fresh our hospitality offering.
• Incorporate a business club.
• Re-house our operational base leaving the offices at the Hub to the Academy.
• Work with the existing topography of the site.
• Future proof us for our ambition.

With the help of local companies Denholm Youd and Clancy Consulting we are delighted with where we are with the design now and are looking to make a planning application by the end of this month.

It’s a huge step forward for us and we, collectively, feel very excited about the next stage in our evolution.
