Mark signs new deal

Ayr United are delighted to announce that Mark McKenzie has today signed a two year extension to his current deal which will keep him at Somerset Park to at least the end of season 2022/2023.

David Hopkin said :"It is great news for the Club. Mark has came right through the Academy and he has an attitude and enthusiasm that rubs off on other players. It is not that long ago that he had his first start and then his first goals and you can see the confidence in him. He has a brilliant work rate and a desire to play for the clyb. We feel Mark has bags of potential and are really looking forward to working with him over the coming years."

Mark said :"I have been at the Club a long time and worked really hard through the Academy to get my chance in the first team. Now that I have had a proper taste of it this season I want to keep progressing and I am really pleased to get the deal signed and look forward to the next couple of years."
