Our new away kit sponsor.

Ayr United were happy to unveil our new away kit yesterday evening and, with it, reveal another evolution of a partnership with an existing sponsor. On this occasion, Lindsay Mortgage Services.

Andrew Lindsay has been a great supporter of the club over the last few years and has now added the away shirt to the list of his sponsorship activities with the club, which have included the sponsorship of the training kit, advertising boards and match sponsorship.

The two year deal to sponsor the shirt steps up his investment with the club and is now a not insignificant five figure sum.

Lifelong Ayr fan, Andrew, said "Ayr is a community club first and foremost and you tend to find that local people are keen to support local businesses. I've been involved for the last three years in terms of sponsoring boards and other things, but this opportunity was a great fit in many ways.

The club is doing a lot of impressive work at present both on and off the park and it's a great time to be part of that. As a fan, seeing my own name on the strip is something you cannot put a price on."

Commercial Manager, Martin Tocker, commented "It's great news for the club that we are able to provide enough value to current sponsors that they are willing to continue re-investing in Ayr United.

We're associated with a national brand in terms of our home kit, and that's clearly fantastic and not a bad thing. But it's just as important to have the backing of local businesses and be able to form partnerships that are long lasting and valuable for both parties."

The away kit should be available to buy in the club shop in mid July.
