Josh Todd joins the Honest Men on loan
David Hopkin has moved to further strengthen his squad ahead of the Championship run-in with the signing of midfielder Josh Todd on loan from Falkirk.
Hoppy said:"It was important with Cammy leaving that we tried to get someone in that has experience at this level and Josh certainly has that. He has played at this level and can play in numerous positions across the front 3 and in midfield."
Carlisle-born Josh started his career with Carlisle United before making his mark in the Scottish game at Annan Athletic. 97 appearances over three seasons with the Galabankies, where he scored 27 times, earned Todd a move to the Championship with Dumbarton where, after six months, he attracted the attention of St. Mirren.
The 26-year old - who has also played for Queen of the South and Dundee before signing for Falkirk in January 2020 - has made 12 appearances for the League 1 leaders this season, most recently starting for the Bairns away to East Fife at the start of January, prior to the suspension of League 1 and 2.
