The Club can confirm that John Rankin's period as Interim Manager has now came to an end.
All at Ayr United would like to sincerely thank John for his contribution over the past five weeks and wish him all the very best for the future.
Managing Director, Graeme Mathie, said "‘I know I speak on behalf of everyone at Ayr United when I say a huge thank you to John Rankin for all his input since taking over as Interim Manager in March.
John has an infectious enthusiasm and he engaged very positively with all players and staff to make the best of a challenging situation at that point in the season and we are very grateful for his professionalism.
The Board are continuing to undertake the process for the next permanent Manager and will make an announcement to supporters in due course"
