Jewson Partnership Extension.
Three year deal.
We are delighted to bring you the news of the extension and evolution of our partnership with Jewson.
The builder’s merchant has signed up to a three year deal, which will see a significant six figure investment into Ayr United Football Club.
Our existing partnership agreement will continue but Jewson will now be the home shirt sponsor of both the Men's and Women’s first teams in a ‘first of it’s kind’ deal for Ayr United.
The club and Jewson will also work more closely together to deliver health and well being programmes in the community.
Chairman, David Smith, said “I have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with Jewson through my own business interests and I really see the synergy between the company and the football club.
I feel the interests of both parties are well served in a partnership like this”
Allan Davidson, Jewson’s Regional Director for Scotland, North East & Lakes added “I am really proud and excited to be part of this partnership. I am impressed with the way the club have set their sights on future growth. The community work, especially, is what really interests me and I look forward to working closer with the club"
On securing the deal, Commercial Manager, Martin Tocker said “The club, and the home shirt, being associated with a national brand like Jewson can only be a positive thing. We gave the players an input into the new kits and we are excited to get them launched and into the shop within the next few weeks.
We are also pleased to announce that there will be a price reduction on our replica kit next season to acknowledge the rise in the cost of living, which will be impacting on a lot of Ayr United supporting households”
Details on how to pre order the new home kit will be released next week.
