Houston signs on loan

Jordan Houston has today signed on loan from Rangers to the end of the season. The 19 year old right back is another highly rated product of the Rangers youth system.

Rangers’ Jordan Houston during the friendly against Cambridge United at The Hummel Training Centre, Glasgow.

Manager Ian McCall said “Jordan went on loan to Airdrie last season however he got an injury while on Scotland duty. He is predominantly a right back however he can cover several areas so he very much helps our squad. His arrival means that Andy Geggan could be another option in midfield which gives us a different dimension with the way he arrives in the box. We have seen Jordan several times including during pre season when he played against us and we are delighted to get him in.

Also today we have came to an agreement with David Ferguson and he has now been released from the club. We would all like to wish David well for the rest of his career and thank him for his efforts while at Ayr United. This will be the end of our business until January.”
