Goalie Hart signs for United

Goalkeeper Jordan Hart has signed a new two deal at Somerset Park. The 20 year goes straight into the squad for Saturdays friendly at Stenhousemuir.

Manager Ian McCall said :”Obviously he is still very young however played nearly every game for Annan last season and we see great potential in him. Our goalie coach Robert Glen knows him very well as he was with him when they were at Celtic. Greg will start the season as number one as earned that with his performances last season however its up to Jordan to work hard and try and get in the team.

We are very active in the market at the moment talking to a variety of players and we still want another defender, wide player and of course strikers. We had a striker in a training on Thursday and he will play on Saturday. We will have other players in to have a look at shortly, maybe even in time for Saturday.

Ryan Nisbet has left the club by mutual agreement. Nissy worked really hard in my time here and what he needs now is game time and everyone at the club wishes him all the best for the future and hope he goes on to have a good career.”
