As we commence the run in to the end of the season, the Club would once again like to praise the terrific backing of our fans at both home and away fixtures.
However, once again, on Saturday at East Fife we witnessed nine of our supporters enter the field of play, resulting in five people being ejected from the stadium. We also had a pitch incursion at our recent game against Forfar, and a further four this season.
We have a wide variety of footage from each game and to reiterate, this behaviour is unacceptable and contravenes the Ground Regulations and could result in a Club ban for the persons responsible.
In addition to the this we have been made aware of a female member of staff at East Fife had allegedly been assaulted by an Ayr United supporter. The Club condemns this behaviour in the strongest possible terms and we ask if anyone has any information on this incident or the pitch incursions to get in contact with the Club
Please keep up the fantastic support whilst adhering to the Club’s Unacceptable Conduct Policy and the Ground Regulations.
