Barjonas signs for United to end of season

Ayr United can today confirm the signing of midfielder Jamie Barjonas, on loan until the end of the season from Rangers.

The 22 year old has had plenty of first team exposure however opportunities have been limited. He has had loan spells at Bury, Raith and prior to the recent shut down of the lower leagues was at Partick Thistle.

Jamie has been part of the Rangers youth set up since a very young age and has made 9 first team appearances.

Manager David Hopkin said :"Jamie is a midfielder who can play anywhere across the middle. He is a very talented young player and has been part of the Rangers first team squad for some time now. He is hungry to get games and impress and we want to thank Rangers for their help in getting this deal done. We are delighted to have him and he will provide real competition for places."
