Ayr v Burnley U23s - Partnership Game

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting Burnley under 23s on Saturday 17th July at 1pm at Somerset Park.  The match will be a competitive ‘Partnership’ game, where the management team of both sides will get a chance to look at the quality of the players.

All our Academy coaches and players will get the chance to watch the game and it will be a valuable learning experience for our young players.

David Smith, Ayr United Chairman said: “The partnership with Burnley is a strategically important one for Ayr United and we are delighted to host them on the 17th and allow our young players to actively look at the pathway available”.

Allan Gunning, Chair of AUFA said: " The game presents a super opportunity for our Academy players and coaches to see the Burnley u23s in action.  We have already established mutually beneficial links with our opposite numbers in the Burnley Academy and the visit will help us to further strengthen these beyond the game itself.  From the start of this exciting initiative the Club has fully involved the Academy in all aspects of the relationship with Burnley and this is very much appreciated by everyone."

A small number of tickets will made available, free of charge, for current Season Ticket holders and those from last season. Tickets will be restricted to a maximum of 2 tickets per Season Ticket holder and can be collected from the Club Shop from this afternoon onwards.

Club Shop will be open as follows:
