AU500 fund hands over £600

AU500 Fund Continues to Grow

The AU500 Fund was launched by a group of dedicated fans in August to raise donations for the Ayr United playing budget and, at Saturday’s match against Dunfermline, the committee presented a cheque for £600 to Ayr United managing director Lewis Grant.

This month’s cheque was for £100 more than last month which is great progress. AU500 Fund Chairman Ron Withers said “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to make these contributions to the club playing budget to support its growth to become an established Championship club and then hopefully a Premiership club a few years after that.”

He continued “Whilst we’ve made a great start to the fund, we really need to get more fans contributing to help us compete with the other teams in this league. If you’re able to contribute £20 a month to the fund or you’re interested in finding out more about the fund please visit our website www.AU500Fund.com for more information on what we’re all about and how to sign up, it’s a really simple process.”
