Next Saturday’s match with Stirling Albion at Somerset Park is going to be absolutely crucial in terms of our final placing in League One this season. Due to this we have decided to reduce entry in the hope of creating a great atmosphere inside the ground, exactly what happened when we offered the same deal against East Fife last season.
We are near the end of another long, hard season and we hugely appreciate the support that our fans have continued to provide, home and away, despite poor results.
The impact a busy Somerset Park buzzing with an atmosphere makes is absolutely huge to our players and many times over the years has been a deciding factor.
Commercial manager Graeme Miller said :”In terms of results this season hasn’t been what any of us expected however the fans have stayed with us because they can see the effort and the level of performances have been getting better however it’s now down to the crunch. Hopefully this is our last home game of the season and more than ever we need a big turn out.
Encourage your friends to come along, friends of friends, tell people it’s only £5 to get in and most importantly that will make a huge difference to our players. Our new strip will be on sale at 10am on the morning of the game and it’s the Player of the Year awards in the evening so it could be a great day. Fans have been asking about opening the railway end so we have decided to open it for this match as we are expecting a bigger crowd.
Season tickets will be on sale as soon as it’s confirmed what division we will be in next season which could see them being on sale two months earlier than last season. “
